Pie Birds provides pies for Pie, Pint, and a Play Readings in Brooklyn!
Have a slice of pie provided by NY Times Recommended Pie Birds, who were part of the 1st ever Smorgasburg, and grab a pint for a staged reading of a new play with professional actors from stage and screen. The pie is inspired by the play!
Each play presented is proudly written, directed, and produced by female artists!
The Pie, Pint, and a Play Reading Series was started by actress and baker, Jessica Giannone (Bristol Old Vic, Williamstown, SPACE on Ryder Farm) and has been in residence at 61 Local in Brooklyn since 2016.

Resident Chef at SPACE on Ryder Farm
SPACE on Ryder Farm is a nonprofit residency program and organic farm located on a family homestead founded in 1795 in Putnam County, New York, about an hour and a half north of New York City. SPACE’s mission is to create an environment singular in its ability to invigorate artists and innovators and their work, and to contribute to the sustainability and resourceful preservation of one of the oldest organic family farms on the East Coast.
